Join the Peace Bus & Human Concern USA to Bring Warmth to Unhoused Neighbors in Tacoma and Seattle
Operation Warm Soles is a community driven effort led by Kwabi Amoah-Forson (The Peace Bus), in partnership with Human Concern USA and the City of Tacoma Venues & Events, to bring warmth and comfort to our homeless neighbors in Tacoma and Seattle, Washington.
We are rallying to provide wool socks, shoes and blankets to those living on streets this winter.
Winter becomes a season of survival when you are homeless, cold and wet pavements on freezing nights with nothing for protection. Thousands of homeless people in the Puget Sound region experience winter without any warmth. In these dreary nights, even a pair of socks can prevent illness, injury, and exposure to cold.
That is why, Kwabi & The Peace Bus are hitting the streets every week from end of November to mid January to fill the bus with blankets and socks for those who need them the most. Your every donation ensures no neighbor is left in the cold.
