Support Gaza's Future Doctors

The persistent conflict in Gaza creates major challenges for Palestinian students at all educational levels. The destruction of schools has severely disrupted the education of young children, while higher education institutions are operating under hazardous and overcrowded conditions. This situation not only affects academic performance but also contributes to psychological distress, impeding the development of future leaders in medicine and education.

Medical students in Gaza encounter substantial financial obstacles that jeopardize their ability to complete their studies. High tuition fees, costs for educational materials, transportation, and daily living expenses all contribute to these challenges. Without financial assistance, many students face the risk of discontinuing their education, exacerbating the strain on Gaza’s already struggling healthcare system.

According to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), only 13% of Palestinian refugees in the West Bank and Gaza pursue higher education. This statistic highlights the severe barriers faced by youth in these regions due to ongoing conflict and disrupted infrastructure. Given the current situation in Gaza, the future prospects for these students are particularly uncertain.

Our project aims to support Gaza’s medical students and faculty by providing essential funding for six months. This support will cover monthly expenses, enabling students to advance their careers and contribute to rebuilding Gaza’s healthcare system.

Your donations are crucial in training the future doctors of Gaza. With the increasing need for medical care due to ongoing injuries and health crises, your support will help equip these future healthcare professionals to provide vital aid to their communities.
