Dua for Last 10 Days of Ramadan
The last ten nights of Ramadan are a time when Allah’s blessings, compassion, and mercy encompass His worshipers. The Prophet (ﷺ) exhausted all effort to worship Allah (سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ). by performing I’tikaf (spiritual retreat at the Masjid), praying through the night, and making dua abundantly.
The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most revered nights in the Islamic calendar. Within them is Laylatul Qadr – the Night of Divine Decree.
On these nights, Jibril (عليه السلام) commanded the Prophet to recite the first word of the Quran: “Iqra!”
Hence marketing the beginning of Revelation.
Why is the Night of Decree significant?
Muslims worldwide exert themselves in the final ten nights of Ramadan, seeking out the Night of Decree (Laylatul Qadr). It is the night when Allah (سُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ) prescribes divine decree to each person.
It is related by Imām Aḥmad that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Laylat Al-Qadr is within the ten remaining days [of Ramadan]. Whosoever stays up [in prayer/worship] Allah, Most Exalted, will forgive all of their past and future sins. And it is on an odd night, the 9th, or the 7th, or the 5th, or the 3rd, or the last night.”

Abū Umāmah replied, “I have become entangled in sorrow and debts.”
The Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) replied, “Shall I inform you of a prayer by which, if you recite, Allah will remove your sorrow and settle your debts?”
Abū Umāmah said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah!”
